White Pomfret / Silver Pomfret (Steaks)

This glossy, diamond-shaped fish is known regionally by a variety of names, including Paplet, Sadumi, Avoli, and Vavval. White Pomfret, a seawater fish, has lean meat with a medium texture and a mild taste. A good source of vitamins, minerals and proteins. With a low bone presence, the fish is an excellent choice to fry.
